Our Story: Pioneering Innovation in the 21st Century
In the early 1990s, the late Dr. JA Nelson Rajaratnam embarked on a remarkable journey dedicated to advancing research and development within the tea industry. This visionary commitment led to the creation of Jaat R&D, a legacy that still thrives today.
In 1991, nestled in the vibrant landscape of northwest Tamil Nadu, South India, Dr. Rajaratnam established the New Jaat Research & Development Center. His driving mission was to harness the power of nature's principles to conserve energy, and he achieved an unprecedented 100% success rate within the tea sector.
One of Dr. Rajaratnam's most groundbreaking contributions was the introduction of Aerodynamic tea drying and the Auto-logical concept, revolutionizing tea production by reducing the need for skilled labor and frequent product handling. His son, Mr. Smith Ananth, furthered his father's legacy by designing an exceptionally efficient hot air generator, setting a new global standard with double the efficiency of existing models.
In 1998, following Dr. Rajaratnam's passing, Mr. NR Smith Ananth took the helm of the organization. Under his leadership, New Jaat expanded its horizons and established NJTT LEGION, an industrial infrastructure devoted to manufacturing innovative machines for the tea industry. As time progressed, the organization diversified to develop specialized machinery for emerging industrial sectors, effectively meeting the evolving demands of local industries.
Today, NJTT LEGION stands as an amalgamation of multiple divisions, each dedicated to serving the diverse needs of our valued clients. Mr. Smith Ananth, now CEO of NJTT LEGION AMALGAMATION, also leads as Chief Scientist for the R&D divisions, surrounded by a highly skilled and experienced team ready to tackle any engineering challenge presented.
Our commitment to excellence extends across a broad spectrum of technology fields. Within NL JAAT R&D, we pave the way for innovative mechatronics machinery and equipment, undertaking self-financed projects to bring market-oriented products to life.
Products designed by NL JAAT R & D come to fruition through NJ MACHINES, with new innovations introduced to the market by NL TRADE & TECH. A cornerstone of our innovation journey is NL MICRO LABORATORY, dedicated to inventing and developing new, eco-friendly products that promote human longevity.
One of our most ambitious projects, 'Discovery,' is a dream nurtured by Mr. Smith Ananth. It delves into the history of the Universe, aiming to present a groundbreaking theory on the 'Formation of the Universe from Even before Darkness.' To support this endeavor, NJ Project Discovery is planning to manufacture satellites for students and researchers, with a vision to design and develop a space vehicle if sponsored by an organization aligned with our R&D goals.
